QA Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a talented QA Engineer to become a part of our team in India. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of experience in software testing, dedicated to delivering high-quality software products through thorough testing and quality assurance methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and manage test cases for various software applications.
• Perform test cases (both manual and automated) and evaluate outcomes.
• Detect, document, and monitor software defects utilizing bug tracking systems.
• Work alongside developers and product managers to comprehend requirements and offer insights.
• Engage in peer reviews of test cases and plans.
• Carry out regression testing to ensure software reliability following modifications.
• Compile and present reports on testing outcomes and quality metrics.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing.
• Expertise in testing methodologies and techniques (both manual and automated).
• Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile practices.
• Knowledge of programming languages including Java, C#, or Python for automation testing.
• Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration.
