Python with Pyspark and SQL

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance data solutions using Snowflake Tasks to streamline and automate data processing workflows.
• Develop and maintain Snowflake Streams to support real-time data capture, monitoring, and processing.
• Apply Snowflake SQL to run complex queries and execute data transformations that improve accessibility and analytical insights.
• Implement Snowpipe to enable continuous, reliable data ingestion and ensure timely, accurate data availability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to capture data requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
• Improve and tune Snowflake architectures to deliver performance and scalability, supporting dependable data solutions.
• Provide technical direction and support to junior developers, contributing to a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Perform regular code reviews to ensure alignment with best practices and uphold high-quality engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues involving Snowflake implementations to minimize downtime and reduce disruptions.
• Stay current with the latest Snowflake capabilities and industry trends, integrating relevant updates into existing solutions.
• Document technical processes and solutions to support knowledge transfer and ongoing continuity.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing data processing efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Snowflake Tasks, with the ability to automate data workflows.
• Demonstrated expertise in Snowflake Streams to support real-time data processing.
• Strong Snowflake SQL skills, including complex data manipulation and extraction of actionable insights.
• Experience with Snowpipe to support efficient data ingestion.
• Ability to collaborate effectively while working in a hybrid model, balancing remote and in-office responsibilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address and resolve technical challenges effectively.
