Python Squish-Test Specialist Role

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation Testing: Design and implement automated test scripts using Squish, Python, and related tools to validate software functionality and GUI performance.
• Manual Testing: Execute manual test cases where automation is not applicable, ensuring comprehensive coverage of software features.
• Test Planning and Execution: Develop test plans, test cases, and test data to ensure product quality across multiple platforms and environments.
• Continuous Integration & Delivery: Integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, ensuring continuous quality validation.
• Defect Tracking and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA or similar test management tools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand requirements, participate in code reviews, and provide feedback to improve software quality.
• Environment Management: Maintain and troubleshoot test environments, ensuring stability for testing cycles.
• Performance and Functional Testing: Conduct functional, regression, GUI, and API testing to validate system integrity and reliability.
• Version Control: Manage code and test scripts using SVN or other version control systems.
