Diagnosis and assessment:

Treatment planning:

• After diagnosis, a psychiatrist must develop a personalized treatment plan for the patient
• This may include prescribing medication, therapy, and other interventions

Medication management:

• Psychiatrists are licensed to prescribe medication for mental health disorders
• They must monitor the patients response to medication and adjust dosages as needed
