Projects Techno/Functional Analyst

Job Summary

The Oracle Primavera Techno-functional expert should have expertise in both technical and functional domains to implement, configure, and manage Oracle Primavera P6 and Unifier solutions including Project Accounting. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical capabilities, ensuring successful project execution and system optimization.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Business Process Alignment
• Collaborate with customers to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Define project workflows, cost controls, and reporting requirements.
• Map business processes to Primavera P6 and Unifier functionalities.
• Align global vs. local processes and recommend proven methodologies.
• System Configuration
• Configure Oracle Primavera P6 schedules, resource assignments, Oracle Project Accounting schedules, resource assignments, and baselines.
• Set up Unifier modules, including cost sheets, workflows, project templates, and dashboards.
• Support project teams with schedule management and cost control processes.
• User Training & Support
• Provide training and support to end-users on Primavera and Project Accounting tools.
• Create functional documentation, user guides, and standard processes for effective utilization.
• Technical Responsibilities
• System Implementation & Integration
• Install, configure, and build extension Oracle Primavera P6 and Unifier environments and extension Oracle Project Accounting environments.
• Develop and manage integrations with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, SAP) and other tools using APIs or middleware.
• Ensure data synchronization and system interoperability.
• Configuration & Development
• Configure Unifier / Project Accounting workflows, business processes, and reports to meet specific business needs.
• Develop scripts, queries, and reports using Primavera APIs, SQL, and XML.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement upgrades or patches.
• Performance Optimization
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.
• Manage security configurations, user roles, and permissions across systems.
• Technical Documentation
• Create detailed documentation for system configurations, integrations, and customizations.
• Provide technical support during implementations and upgrades.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Expertise in Oracle Primavera P6 and Unifier and Oracle Project Accounting (both functional and technical).
• Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, cost control, and risk management.
• Proficient in system customization, integration, and performance tuning with a focus on technical depth.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaborator management skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Science with a technical background (MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field).
• Good interpersonal skills using English, both spoken and written, as will be working with an overseas team.
