Project Manager (Global Markets Equities)

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee comprehensive delivery of equity technology initiatives, encompassing planning, implementation, and post-deployment support.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, development teams, QA personnel, and vendors to facilitate smooth integration of trading platforms.
• Create detailed project plans, oversee budget management, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and uphold documentation quality and standards.
• Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, manage change requests, and address issues efficiently.
• Provide regular updates on project progress and impacts to senior management and key stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of practical experience as a Project Manager or Business Analyst within the Global Markets Equities or Fixed Income Trading Technology domain.
• Excellent analytical capabilities to develop solutions for intricate business requirements, including creating business requirement documents and conceptual solutions.
• Solid understanding of trading workflows, business processes, and product knowledge such as Delta One, Swaps, Stock Lending, and Cash Trading, including front-to-back operations like position management and risk assessments.
• Confident in leading meetings, developing delivery schedules, tracking implementation progress, assessing risks, and stakeholder management.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working alongside developers, technical leads, and Lines of Business partners; adaptable in tailoring messaging and detail level based on the audience.
• Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, capable of following up diligently on assigned tasks and deliverables.
• Proficient in core project management and technical tools such as Agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, and other office productivity suites.
