Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Full ownership and accountability for project management and delivery across the SDLC.
• Manage all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities from initiation to closure.
• Provide comprehensive technical guidance to development teams across analysis, design, coding, debugging, testing, and deployment.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of all technical documentation including SRS, DFDs, flowcharts, change history, help files, and bug reports.
• Ensure profitability and timely delivery of all projects.
• Manage and guide database design, development, tuning, and performance optimization.
• Handle change request management and product enhancement initiatives.
• Lead customer complaint resolution and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
• Oversee unit testing and support all forms of testing for quality assurance.
• Guide development using multi-layer (3-tier/n-tier and 5-layer) architecture.
• Enforce adherence to coding, design, application, and database standards across projects.
• Drive implementation of advanced security features including protection against SQL Injection and XSS attacks.
• Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies for continuous improvement.
• Lead teams in adopting modern tools and technologies including cloud-based development.
• Review all technical components including codebase, database structures, and documentation.
• Maintain regular reporting to top management on all project-related matters.
• Act as primary point of contact for clients regarding project status, risks, and escalations.
• Ensure all project-related MIS is up to date and accurate.

Skill Set Desired

• Application architecture: 3-layer, n-tier, and 5-layer architecture
• Programming: VB, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS
• Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, database tuning, ER modeling (ERWin)
• Reporting: Crystal Reports, Graphical Reports, Business Intelligence tools
• Controls & Libraries: Telerik controls, custom user controls
• Web technologies: Web Services, WCF, WPF, LINQ
• Features: Auto-mailing, Email integration, mobile responsiveness
• Security: SQL Injection protection, XSS mitigation, advanced security best practices
• Performance: Application and database performance tuning, load management
• Testing: All types of software testing and quality assurance
• Documentation: SRS, DFDs, Change Logs, Help Files
• Project Management: Complete project lifecycle management and MIS reporting
• Cloud: Experience in cloud application development
