- PMT Project Manager facilitates team progress to deliverables by helping teams focus on delivering value aligned to the daily, iteration and PI goals including scope, inter-dependencies and time commitments.
- Coaches the Dev Team on empowerment/self-organization and problem solving and lean agile practices.
- Work with Product Owners, Solution Architect, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment balancing team dynamics to priorities and scope.
- Unblocks impediments/escalating issues at the team/sprint level.
- Manage risks and dependencies.
- Work with team and RTE to escalate, track and unblock impediments and increase effectiveness.
- Shields the Development Team from external interference. Coordinates and support development team and hand off to release management team for deployments.
- Measures and monitors development metrics.
- Coach and monitor Scrum team agile practices.
- Facilitates scrum events and fosters team involvement in meetings.
- Ensure estimation from Feature (t-shirt size) to story level (story points).
- Ensure that scrum teams velocity are documented. Participate in SOS to update other SM and RTE to current deliverables, blockers/impediments and cross dependencies.
- Ensures scrum rules are followed and promotes agile values within the feature team. Guides team in establishing normalized estimates.
- Support Product Owner for backlog management and prioritization. Schedule and communicate the ceremony calendars for Iterations.
- Facilitates the Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review/Demo, Sprint Retrospective and Backlog Refinement. Ensure right participation and facilitate all voices being heard.
- Participates in SOS and PI Planning and cross team COEs.
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the scrum team using Gitlab.
- Tracking the execution of features and capabilities keeping teams accountable for their timelines.
- Facilitating feature/capability and story estimation.
- Ensures Stories/Features contain the correct labels, epic rollup, approvals, documentation, agreed timelines and detail standards (scope, assumptions, acceptance criteria).
- Tracks iteration velocity/burndown.
