Project Engineer Electrical Hardware Design

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design & Engineering

• Translate customer specifications into detailed requirements for electrical control panels and systems.
• Develop Functional Design Specifications (FDS), wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, panel layouts, and test procedures.
• Perform component selection and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Conduct power and heat load calculations and design panel layouts.
• Ensure designs comply with IEC and JIC standards.

Project Execution & Delivery

• Deliver assigned projects on time, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
• Support system testing, FAT, and site commissioning as required.
• Prepare weekly progress reports for internal stakeholders and customers.
• Maximize reuse of standard products, designs, and engineering practices.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Work with supervisors and project teams to identify, clarify, and mitigate technical risks.
• Share best practices and technical knowledge to improve team capabilities.
