Program Manager - Power & Utility Domain

Job Summary

Maimsd Technology is seeking an experienced and visionary Program Manager with a strong background in the Power & Utilities sector, both within India and internationally. This leadership role is crucial for driving digital transformation, enterprise architecture, and leading strategic initiatives for our smart utility clients. We're looking for a professional with 12-15 years of industry, execution, and consulting experience, emphasizing emerging technologies and enterprise-level transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead digital transformation initiatives involving smart grids, IoT, AI, blockchain, No Code/Low Code platforms, other emerging technologies, and cloud-agnostic solutions.
• Develop and execute comprehensive technology and digital strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage the design and implementation of scalable and secure solutions within the utility landscape.
• Identify and lead business development efforts, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and client presentations.
• Monitor and assess industry trends, policy changes, and technological advancements to effectively advise clients.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the power and utilities industry in India.
• Manage large-scale consulting engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery within defined scope, time, and budget.
• Guide project teams in data analysis, strategic insight generation, and solution design.
• Provide thought leadership through white papers, industry insights, and speaking engagements.
• Mentor and nurture junior consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Drive internal capability building through recruitment, facilitating training, and professional development programs.
• Lead client workshops, executive briefings, and presentations with clarity and impact.
• Communicate complex technical solutions and strategic recommendations effectively to senior business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

Desired Experience: Proven experience in the implementation or program management of at least three or more of the following systems is highly desirable:

• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
• Customer Information System (CIS)
• Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA)
• Geographic Information System (GIS)
• Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)
• Energy Management System (EMS)
• Asset Management System (AMS)
• Workforce Management System (WMS)
• Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS)

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 12-15 years of experience in the power and utilities domain, with significant exposure to digital and enterprise transformation initiatives.
• Must have experience in driving enterprise architecture and solution advisory.
• Strong leadership, consulting, and client relationship management capabilities.
• Ability to think strategically and drive execution in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks in Power and Utility sectors.
