Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Professional Services Engineer with deep expertise in Network Security and hands-on capability with Netskope and/or Zscaler. This role involves end-to-end delivery of cloud security solutions for enterprise customers, including solution design, implementation, migration, configuration, and optimisation.

Successful candidates will bring strong networking fundamentals and practical experience with secure web gateways, proxies, firewalls, VPNs, identity integration, and data security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and configure Netskope and/or Zscaler security solutions for enterprise customers.
• Drive customer implementations across SSE/SASE, Zero Trust, Secure Web Gateway, and private application access.
• Support migrations from legacy proxy/VPN/security platforms to Netskope or Zscaler.
• Gather requirements, run technical workshops, and participate in solution-design sessions with customer security and network teams.
• Configure and troubleshoot policies, traffic steering, authentication, access controls, and security policies.
• Integrate solutions with enterprise platforms including SSO, IdP, SIEM, MDM, and firewalls.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security problems involving routing, DNS, proxies, SSL/TLS, VPN, and application connectivity.
• Perform solution testing, validation, and production readiness assessments.
• Create implementation plans, low-level designs, configuration documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-transfer materials.
• Collaborate closely with customer architects, security teams, network teams, and internal engineering/support teams.
• Provide post-implementation optimisation and technical guidance to enhance the customer’s overall security posture.

Mandatory Technical Skills

Netskope / Zscaler

• Strong hands-on implementation experience with at leastone of the following:
  • Netskope cloud security/SSE platform
  • Zscaler ZIA / ZPA
• Experience configuring security policies, user access, traffic steering, and authentication.
• Knowledge of SASE/SSE and Zero Trust architecture.

Network & Security

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, routing and network architecture.
• Experience with:
  • Proxies / Secure Web Gateways
  • Next-Generation Firewalls
  • SSL/IPSec
  • VPN technologies
  • SSO / Identity integration
  • DLP
  • SIEM and security monitoring

These network-security capabilities closely align with an internal Netskope-focused profile, which specifically requires experience with proxies, next-generation firewalls, SSL/IPSec, VPNs, SSO, DLP, encryption gateways, SIEM, load balancing, and strong network architecture knowledge.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience across both Netskope and Zscaler.
• Migration experience from traditional proxy/VPN environments to cloud-based SSE/SASE solutions.
• Experience with enterprise identity providers and SSO.
• Knowledge of Cloud APIs and endpoint/MDM technologies.
• Basic scripting/automation knowledge using Python or similar languages. The internal Netskope profile also notes scripting, Cloud APIs, and MDM knowledge as relevant capabilities.
• Exposure to regulatory/security frameworks such as PCI, PII and SOX.
• Experience working with large enterprise customers.
• Relevant Netskope or Zscaler certifications would be beneficial.
