Job Title: Production Support Engineer – Java/.NET

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Production Support Engineer with experience in Java/.NET technologies to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of critical applications. The role involves monitoring, incident management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain seamless production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high availability and stability of production applications through proactive monitoring and support.
- Handle incident management (P2–P5) including triage, troubleshooting, and resolution; support P1 incidents under guidance.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
- Monitor application and infrastructure health using tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar platforms.
- Collaborate with DevOps/SRE teams to improve automation and reduce manual interventions.
- Maintain and update runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation.
- Support L1/L2 activities and assist in L3-level investigations.
- Participate in on-call rotations and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding incidents, impact, and resolution status.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Core Java or .NET technologies
- Experience with Linux/Unix commands
- Hands-on experience with databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle
- Familiarity with platforms such as IBM OpenShift, Azure, or Windows/Linux environments
- Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar
- Exposure to ticketing tools such as ServiceNow and tracking tools like Rally
- Knowledge of batch scheduling tools like ESP or equivalent
Good to Have:
- Understanding of SRE/DevOps practices
- Experience with automation and scripting
- Knowledge of observability concepts (logs, metrics, alerts)
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 production support environment
