Production Engineer-static equipment

Key Responsibilities:

Production Planning & Execution

• Prepare and achieve production plans, flowcharts, and schedules.
• Monitor production progress to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Ensure proper flow of production in line with engineering drawings and available resources.

Engineering & Drawing Verification

• Read, verify, and validate engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Check BOM (Bill of Materials) against approved drawings and ensure material availability.
• Prepare material indents based on approved BOMs and coordinate with stores.

Quality & Inspection

• Carry out stage-wise inspections as per internal QC standards and approved Quality Assurance Plans (QAP).
• Ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and customer requirements.
• Identify and address any deviations during production to maintain quality.

Material & Resource Management

• Ensure availability of necessary materials, tools, and equipment for production.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores to maintain smooth operations.
• Make necessary arrangements for dispatch of completed jobs.

Team Leadership

• Supervise and coordinate production teams to achieve operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance, monitor performance, and resolve operational challenges.
• Promote adherence to safety standards and best practices in the production unit.
