Product Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise:

• Utilize Hive and SQL to manage and analyze large datasets, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to design and implement scalable data solutions.

Product Ownership:

Act as the Product Owner for Incident Management, defining and prioritizing the product backlog to align with business goals and customer needs.

Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and ensure clear communication of product vision and objectives.

Lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure efficient and effective product development.

Incident Management:

Oversee the incident management process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of incidents.

Develop and implement incident management policies and procedures to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent future incidents.

Collaboration and Communication:

Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Provide regular updates on product development progress, incident status, and key metrics to senior management and stakeholders.

Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on best practices and new technologies.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as a Product Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role.

3. Strong proficiency in Hive and SQL, with a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts

and best practices.

4. Experience in Product Owner responsibilities, particularly in incident management and agile

methodologies.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.

6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with

cross-functional teams.

7. Familiarity with incident management tools and frameworks (e.g., ITIL) is a plus.

8. Certification in Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.
