Principal Java Software Engineer

Position Summary:

Lead software development initiatives for advanced cybersecurity solutions. Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software while mentoring a team of developers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of complex cybersecurity software solutions
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to software development teams
• Collaborate with product managers, security analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Ensure high-quality code through best practices, coding standards, and code reviews
• Participate in architecture and design of scalable and secure software systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects while staying updated with emerging technologies

Minimum Requirements:

• 6+ years of software development experience, with strong focus on cybersecurity
• Leadership experience managing and mentoring software development teams
• Expertise in Java and Microservices Architecture
• Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills
