Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Workday Extend

In this role, you will be responsible for leading on building custom apps and solutions directly on top of leveraging Workday%27s existing security and data models. Lead in understanding the requirement and accordingly create unique applications for things like employee onboarding, expense requests, or recognition programs, streamlining processes, retiring legacy systems, and extending Workday%27s functionality to meet specific business needs without complex integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Workday Extend applications based on business requirements

• Lead technical design discussions and provide solution guidance

• Build and manage custom objects, UI components, and business logic

• Develop and support integrations between Extend, Workday modules, and thirdparty systems

• Ensure applications follow Workday security and best practices

• Perform code and design reviews to maintain quality standards

• Support testing, deployment, and production issues

• Assess impact of Workday releases and update Extend applications as needed

• Mentor junior team members and provide technical support

• Work with stakeholders to manage expectations and timelines

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications/ Skills :

• BE/MBA/M.Tech

• Workday Extend mandatory along with Studio Integration, PICOF, PECI preferred

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills :

• Strong handson experience with Workday Extend

• Solid understanding of Workday HCM / Financials and Business Process Framework

• Experience with Workday APIs and integrations

• Knowledge of security roles, domains, and permissions

• Good problemsolving and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables

• Experience in solution architecture or technical lead roles

• Exposure to Workday governance and bestpractice frameworks

• Prior experience mentoring or leading teams
