Position Summary:
The Pre-Sales Consultant will play a key role in supporting the sales process by delivering impactful product demonstrations, conducting proof-of-concept (PoC) engagements, and providing expert technical consultation to potential clients. This role requires strong communication, solution-oriented thinking, and a deep understanding of SaaS solutions to help drive customer success and revenue growth in the US B2B market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver persuasive, customized product demonstrations that address specific client requirements and highlight both technical and business benefits.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team throughout the sales cycle, providing expert technical consultation to support customer decision-making.
- Clearly explain complex solutions in understandable terms to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Identify client pain points and position Apty's solutions as effective, value-driven remedies.
- Develop proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions and guide prospects through evaluation and implementation scenarios.
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to relay customer feedback and influence product improvements.
- Support onboarding and enablement activities for new clients to ensure smooth adoption.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and participate in discovery sessions, demonstrations, and PoC engagements.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights to strengthen sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and expectations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or a similar customer-facing role within the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
- Proven experience working in the US B2B SaaS market.
- Hands-on experience conducting PoCs, product demos, and addressing technical objections.
- Knowledge of software implementation, user experience, and change management strategies (preferred).
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements and communicate clear value propositions.
- Strong technical aptitude and confidence in demonstrating software solutions.
- Ability to think strategically, collaborate effectively, and thrive in a high-energy, sales-driven environment.
