Power Platform Developer

Black And White Business Solutions is actively seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and optimize robust business applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BI, along with strong capabilities in Dataverse and various data integrations. You will be instrumental in collaborating with stakeholders, driving automation, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that transform business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop applications using Power Apps (both Canvas and Model-Driven) to create intuitive and effective business solutions.
• Automate business processes efficiently with Power Automate (Flow) and seamlessly integrate with external systems to streamline operations.
• Build and manage compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable business insights.
• Work extensively with Dataverse (CDS) and various other data connectors (e.g., SQL, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Azure) to ensure robust data management.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define solution architectures, and deliver high-quality, impactful applications.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams and SharePoint, for a unified user experience.
• Adhere to best practices for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), governance, and security within the Power Platform ecosystem.
• Provide ongoing support and optimization for existing Power Platform solutions to ensure their continued efficiency and relevance.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct thorough reviews of technical deliverables, fostering team growth and maintaining code quality.
• Collaborate with solution architects and enterprise architects on high-level solution design, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.

Required Skills

• Overall IT Experience: 6 to 10 years of total IT experience, with at least 4+ years specifically in Microsoft Power Platform development.
• Power Platform Expertise: Expert proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven), Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Extended Power Platform Knowledge: Experience with Power Pages and Power Virtual Agents is a plus.
• Data Management: Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse (Common Data Service) and the Common Data Model.
• Integration Skills: Experience with custom connectors, APIs, and RESTful services for robust integration capabilities.
• Microsoft 365 Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 applications such as SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.
• Azure Fundamentals: Basic understanding of Azure services (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Functions) relevant to Power Platform integrations.
• DevOps & ALM: Experience in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) practices for Power Platform solutions.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and communication skills to effectively collaborate and deliver solutions.
• Certifications: Microsoft certifications in Power Platform are preferred (e.g., PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer, PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect).
