Power BI Administrator with Azure

Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled Power BI Administrator with a decade of comprehensive IT experience and in-depth knowledge of Power BI platform administration along with Azure technologies.
• The selected candidate will oversee the Power BI environment, ensuring its stability, security, governance, performance optimization, and facilitating enterprise reporting solutions.

Primary Duties:

• Administer and sustain the Power BI Service environment.
• Oversee workspaces, capacities, gateways, tenant settings, and security configurations.
• Set up and track on-premises and cloud data gateways.
• Implement role-based access control (RBAC) and governance policies.
• Monitor platform performance, usage metrics, and capacity utilization.
• Troubleshoot issues related to report refresh, connectivity, performance, and access.
• Collaborate with report developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Support Azure-based data integration and reporting solutions.
• Establish best practices for deployment, monitoring, security, and compliance.
• Lead platform upgrades, enhancements, and initiatives for operational excellence.

Technical Qualifications:

• 10 years of overall IT experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in Power BI Administration.
• Proficiency in Power BI Service Gateway Management and Workspace Administration.
• Experience in managing Power BI Security Governance and Tenant Administration.
• Strong understanding of Azure services, including ADLS, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Active Directory.
• Familiarity with DAX, SQL, and Power BI performance optimization techniques.
• Experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, and capacity management.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in stakeholder support.
