Playwright test lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and sustain automated testing scripts utilizing Playwright
• Create comprehensive end-to-end functional regression, smoke, and integration test suites
• Develop and uphold reusable automation frameworks and utilities
• Conduct cross-browser testing across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
• Implement API testing and validation within automation workflows
• Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test execution outcomes and troubleshoot failures
• Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure product quality
• Generate and maintain test documentation, reports, and automation metrics
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and defect triage sessions
• Required Skills
• Extensive hands-on experience with Playwright
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript
• Experience in UI and Web Application Testing
• Familiarity with Playwright features including
• Auto waits
• Browser Contexts
• Network Interception
• Parallel Execution
• Page Object Model (POM)
• Experience in building automation frameworks from the ground up
• Understanding of REST API Testing
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and version control methodologies
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
