Platform Services / Platform Eng - Build & Tools Support

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and facilitate software build and release workflows across various development environments
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Bamboo, or TeamCity
• Set up and manage source code repositories, including Git, GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket
• Assist in build automation with tools such as Maven, Gradle, Ant, npm, and MSBuild
• Create automation scripts using languages like Python, Shell Scripting, PowerShell, or Groovy
• Diagnose and resolve build failures, deployment challenges, and toolchain-related incidents
• Oversee artifact repositories such as Nexus Repository, JFrog Artifactory, or Azure Artifacts
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Manage and support containerization platforms, including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift
• Monitor and ensure platform availability, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, SRE, and cloud teams to enhance engineering productivity
• Facilitate developer tools onboarding, access management, and platform governance
• Adhere to documentation standards and best practices for platform services
• Conduct upgrades, patching, and maintenance of build tools and associated infrastructure
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at automation and enhancing developer experience

Technical Requirements:

• Technology Platform Engineering and Containers, specifically Kubernetes
