Job Description
KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking experienced Piping Engineers and Piping Designers to join our teams in Chennai and Bangalore. The roles focus on delivering high-quality engineering and design solutions across onshore, offshore, and FPSO projects, contributing to the full asset life cycle from FEED to detailed design and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3D piping models and 2D drawings using SP3D and E3D for onshore, offshore, and FPSO projects
- Perform layout design, material specification, and stress analysis of piping systems in compliance with project standards and international codes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, structural, and mechanical engineers to ensure consistent and constructible designs
- Conduct review of piping layouts, drawings, and material requisitions to ensure quality and compliance
- Support senior engineers in planning, coordination, and execution of piping engineering deliverables
- Mentor junior engineers and designers, providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer
- Interface with vendors and contractors as required for technical clarifications and procurement support

- SP3D & E3D Layout Designers (Onshore/LNG projects) – 8-20 years
- Offshore SP3D & E3D Senior Layout Engineers (FPSO projects) – 8-20 years
- Senior Piping Material Engineers (Onshore/Offshore) – 8-20 years
- Senior Piping Stress Engineers (LNG/Onshore projects) – 8-20 years
- Area Lead Engineers (Fixed Platform/FPSO projects) – 8-20 years
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience in piping design, layout, material specification, or stress analysis for onshore, offshore, or FPSO projects
- Proficiency in SP3D and E3D design software
- Strong understanding of piping codes, standards, and engineering best practices
