Job Description
- Independently handle 1 Medium (400K instances) and 1 Complex (800K instances) block; for Engineer 2 & 3, manage 2 Medium HMs.
- Take responsibility for HMs from Netlist to GDS including Floorplan, Implementation, Timing Closure, FV, CLP, and PV.
- Perform IR drop analysis (preferred).
- Apply strong technical knowledge for problem solving and debugging with minimal supervision.
- Work on Multi-Voltage Domain HMs or have good understanding of multi-voltage design concepts.
- Debug high-utilization, congested, and timing-driven blocks during Implementation.
- Perform Static Timing Analysis (STA) and write Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Knowledge of Perl and Tcl scripting is advantageous.
- Work experience in Low-Power design is a plus.
- Use industry tools such as Cadence ICC/ICC2, Synopsys STARXT/PTSI, Synopsys Olympus/Caliber, Mentor Rehawk, and Apache tools.
