PGT Computer Science Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and committed Computer Science Teacher to deliver instruction to Grade 11 students. The successful candidate will bring solid subject expertise, proven teaching capability, and prior experience managing PGT-level classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver Computer Science instruction to Grade 11 students in alignment with the prescribed curriculum.
• Create lesson plans, develop teaching resources, prepare assignments, and design assessments.
• Teach programming concepts, computer fundamentals, and real-world applications in a clear and effective manner.
• Lead practical sessions and support students during laboratory activities.
• Assess student learning outcomes through tests, assignments, and examinations.
• Track students' academic progress and provide individual guidance when needed.
• Ensure classroom discipline and promote active student participation.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school management on academic activities.
• Maintain academic records and share students' progress with parents when required.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience teaching Computer Science at the PGT level.
• A relevant postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• B.Ed. qualification preferred or required as per the applicable recruitment norms.
• Strong command of Computer Science concepts and programming.
• Exceptional communication, classroom management, and teaching skills.
• Ability to prepare students for academic assessments and examinations.
