Performance Tester

Description

We are seeking an experienced Performance Tester to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing and will be responsible for ensuring the high performance and reliability of our applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance testing strategies for various applications.
• Analyze performance test results and provide actionable insights to the development team.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements in the application architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance testing is integrated into the development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain performance test scripts using appropriate tools and frameworks.
• Report and track performance issues and work with developers to resolve them.
• Perform load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing to ensure application performance under different conditions.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in performance testing of web and mobile applications.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
• Experience in scripting performance test cases and managing test data.
• Understanding of application architectures including web services, microservices, and cloud environments.
• Proficient in analyzing performance test results and metrics using tools like Grafana, Kibana, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C# for test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices to integrate performance testing into the deployment pipeline.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve performance-related issues.
