Performance Engineer - HRSG

Job Overview:

• We are in search of a skilled HRSG Performance Engineer to become part of our team, focusing on Combined Cycle Power Plants and Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG).
• This position emphasizes the design of thermal layouts, interpretation of heat balances, and component sizing for efficient energy systems.

Primary Duties:

• Design and analyze the thermal layout of power plant components, particularly HRSG.
• Conduct thermodynamic and process calculations, develop flow charts, and size critical components including pumps, valves, pipes, and tubes based on heat balance assessments.
• Transform heat balance data into actionable design tools.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, EN, and IBR standards.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to integrate designs and enhance overall plant efficiency.
• Offer technical support and informal mentorship to colleagues.

Technical Qualifications:

• Experience with Combined Cycle Power Plants, HRSG, and Boiler systems.
• Thorough knowledge of heat balance, component sizing, and performance evaluations.

Additional Duties:

• Utilization of engineering design tools for thermal and process calculations.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Work locations include Bangalore, Mysore, and Noida.
