Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade PeopleSoft application and PeopleTools components (Web Server, App Server, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker).
  • Administer and maintain multiple PeopleSoft environments (DEV, TEST, PROD).
  • Apply patches, bundles, tax updates, and change assistant packages.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, and troubleshoot environment-related issues.
  • Work closely with DBAs to manage PeopleSoft databases (Oracle, SQL Server).
  • Coordinate deployments, refreshes, and cloning of PeopleSoft environments.
  • Manage security configurations, including user profiles, roles, and permission lists.
  • Support integration with third-party systems via Integration Broker, Web Services, and API.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and change logs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–6+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Administrator.
  • Strong expertise in PeopleSoft 9.x and PeopleTools 8.5x.
  • Experience with WebLogic, Tuxedo, Oracle Database, and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM).
  • Proficiency with Linux/Unix, shell scripting, and basic Windows server knowledge.
  • Familiarity with Load Balancers, SSL configurations, and networking concepts.
  • Knowledge of Change Assistant, Data Mover, and Configuration Manager.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions.
  • Exposure to cloud-hosted environments (OCI, AWS, Azure) for PeopleSoft.
  • Experience with automation tools for monitoring and deployment.
  • ITIL or other service management certifications.
