People Analytics Engineering Manager

Job description

- Lead, develop and manage a team of engineers to design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data is available and accessible to all stakeholders.- Build and support dashboards and self-service tools (using several platforms) to analyze and present internal and external data.- Collaborate with people analytics team members and cross-functional teams to deeply understand data requirements, business processes and source systems data that will enable delivery of projects in a timely manner.- Establish processes to ensure engineering excellence, high data quality, reliability, and efficiency of analytical products by conducting code reviews and data validations.- Ensure high availability of data systems through monitoring, alerting, and on-call rotations as necessary.- Co-own a portfolio of data products, ensuring our Design Process and Design System is followed across developers.- Drive innovation and automation in data processes to optimize data flow, reduce latency, and improve data quality.- Mentor and grow the team, fostering a culture of learning, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

• 8+ years of experience in analytics engineering and solutions.
• 2+ years management experience leading Data Analytics teams.
• Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and sub-queries.
• Extensive experience and knowledge using analytical reporting tools with specific emphasis on Tableau.
• Technical proficiency in advanced statistics, modeling knowledge, data visualization (e.g., Tableau), relational databases, and/or Python.
• Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS), data warehousing solutions (Snowflake) and data modeling and analytics workflows and development (Dbt, CICD, etc)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills to partner cross-functionally across engineering teams and business teams.
• Strong ability to plan and manage numerous processes, people and projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning platforms and data science workflows.
• Experience with Tableau Server, TabPy, Extensions, and Tableau Prep.
