Your Role And Responsibilities

In the capacity of a Package Specialist for Salesforce Technical Operations, you will be responsible for application support and management activities to guarantee ongoing and synchronized functionality. This position entails delivering 24x7 application support coverage, executing platform upgrades, and conducting user administration tasks.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Application Monitoring and Support: Conduct application monitoring for jobs and processes using direct log access and platform admin console, or utilizing tools such as AI Ops. Manage the incident lifecycle, taking ownership until resolution and satisfaction of the originator.
• Code Migration and Management: Oversee code migration across various environments to maintain continuous and synchronized functionality. Keep detailed records of configuration changes and schedule application updates.
• User Administration: Execute user administration responsibilities including creation, deletion, modification, profile updates, and password resets.
• Performance Maintenance: Ensure the application operates at expected performance levels through proactive and preventive maintenance activities.
• Metrics and Reporting: Compile and prepare metrics regarding tasks, incidents, and environmental change actions undertaken.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Salesforce Application Support: Proven experience in application monitoring utilizing logs, platform admin console, and tools like AI Ops to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Code Migration and Management: Demonstrated experience in managing code migration across environments, ensuring functionality remains synchronized, and maintaining configuration change records.
• Incident Lifecycle Management: Experience in managing the entire incident lifecycle, from ownership to resolution, ensuring the originator’s satisfaction.
• User Administration: Proficient in user administration tasks, such as creation, deletion, modification, profile updates, and password resets.
• Platform Upgrade Implementation: Experience in executing platform upgrades and conducting regression testing to ensure seamless operations.
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Exposure to ITIL Framework: Familiarity with the ITIL framework for managing incidents, problems, and changes is advantageous for this role.
• Knowledge of Salesforce APIs: Understanding of Salesforce APIs and their integration with other applications is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile methodologies and version control systems can aid in effective code migration and deployment management.
