Key Responsibilities

In the role of Package Consultant with a focus on Workday Integrations, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting the integration of Workday with various software systems, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of both the Workday platform and the external systems involved. You will oversee the planning, design, and execution of integration strategies to align with the client's business objectives.

Your Main Duties Will Include

• Execute Integration Solutions: Design, create, and implement integration solutions that connect Workday with other software systems, ensuring efficient data exchange while fulfilling client business needs.
• Facilitate Planning and Design: Lead the planning and design phases of the integration process, working alongside both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration experience.
• Deliver Post-Implementation Support: Provide ongoing support and maintenance following implementation, addressing any challenges that arise and ensuring the integration consistently meets client demands.
• Engage with Stakeholders: Communicate effectively and collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve successful integration project results.
• Code Development and Testing: Write, conduct unit tests, and deploy code to support integration needs, following best practices and quality assurance standards.

Necessary Technical and Professional Expertise

• Understanding of Workday Platform: Knowledge of the Workday platform, including its architecture, data models, and integration features, to create effective integration solutions.
• Experience in Integration Development: Familiarity with principles of integration development such as data mapping, interface design, and testing to facilitate the integration of Workday with other systems.
• Awareness of External Systems: An understanding of external systems to be integrated with Workday, including their data formats, APIs, and integration standards, to ensure smooth data transitions.
• Proficient in Coding and Unit Testing: Competency in writing, unit testing, and implementing code to fulfill integration needs, adhering to best practices and quality benchmarks.
• Collaboration with Technical Teams: Experience in working with technical teams, comprehending their requirements, and conveying technical details effectively for successful integration project execution.
  
  

Desirable Technical and Professional Experience

• Exposure to Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and their integration functionalities is advantageous for crafting effective Workday integration solutions.
• Knowledge of Scripting Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages, including XML or JSON, can support the development and testing of integration solutions between Workday and other software systems.
• Understanding of API Protocols: Awareness of API protocols, such as REST and SOAP, will facilitate seamless data interoperability between Workday and external applications.
