Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Package Consultant for SAP HANA SCM GTS, you will partner with business stakeholders to support the design and functional implementation of SAP Global Trade Services, enabling compliant and efficient cross-border trade operations. The role requires solution delivery and active collaboration with stakeholders to achieve these objectives.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Process Design: Convert trade compliance and customs requirements into scalable process designs, including sanctioned-party screening, embargo/legal control, and license determination.
• Implementation Leadership: Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and define end-to-end process flows across order-to-cash and procure-to-pay.
• Configuration Management: Configure GTS objects, including legal regulations, control classes, and business partners, to support reliable integration with S/4HANA and other systems.
• Test Strategy: Drive test strategy activities, including unit, SIT, and UAT, to confirm the solution satisfies the requirements.
• Data Migration: Manage data migration activities, including business partner and classification data, to enable the implementation.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• SAP GTS Expertise: Demonstrated exposure to SAP Global Trade Services, edition for SAP HANA, including knowledge of how it enables compliant and efficient cross-border trade operations.
• Process Design Experience: Hands-on experience applying trade compliance and customs requirements to design scalable process flows, including sanctioned-party screening and license determination.
• Configuration Skills: Ability to configure GTS objects, such as legal regulations and control classes, to ensure integration with S/4HANA and other systems.
• Test Strategy Development: Exposure to leading test strategies, including unit, SIT, and UAT, to ensure solution requirements are met.
• Data Migration Knowledge: Experience with data migration, including business partner and classification data, to support implementation and integration with external systems.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Technical Integration Skills: Exposure to integrating SAP GTS with S/4HANA, EWM/TM, and external customs brokers/content providers.
• Data Analysis Knowledge: Experience with data migration and management, including business partner and classification data.
• Test Automation Tools: Familiarity with tools used to automate unit, SIT, and UAT testing to validate that solution requirements are met.
