Job Description
- Plan and schedule releases across development, UAT, and production environments.
- Manage Salesforce CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like Copado, Gearset, or Jenkins.
- Ensure proper version control and rollback strategies using Git or other versioning tools.
- Oversee the movement of metadata and configurations across Salesforce environments. Change & Governance Management
- Establish and enforce release governance processes to maintain system integrity.
- Work with business and technical teams to assess release readiness and minimize risks.
- Conduct impact analysis on new features and integrations.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices and security standards. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication
- Coordinate with business analysts, developers, admins, and testers to streamline the release process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for release scheduling, status updates, and issue resolution.
- Work with scrum teams to align sprint cycles with release timelines.
- Provide training and documentation for users impacted by new releases.
- Salesforce Expertise: Hands-on experience in managing deployments across Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud.
- Release Management Tools: Proficiency in Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Git, Salesforce DevOps tools.
- Project & Change Management: Experience in Agile, Scrum, and ITIL processes.
- Communication & Leadership: Strong stakeholder management skills for coordinating between business and IT teams.
- Certifications (Preferred): Salesforce Release Manager, Salesforce Administrator, or equivalent DevOps certifications.
- As a Salesforce Release Manager, youwill be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the deployment of Salesforce releases across multiple environments.
- You will ensure seamless deployments, manage version control, and enforce governance around change management. This role requires strong collaboration with development teams, business stakeholders, and IT teams to maintain system stability and efficiency while delivering new features.
