OTT Apps Developer

Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled OTT Applications Developer with substantial experience in C programming and a proven track record in creating and maintaining native OTT applications across major platforms such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney Hotstar, or similar.
• This position entails contributing to the development of next-generation video platforms, focusing on high-performance OTT application development for embedded devices using RDK and Yocto-based environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain native OTT applications tailored for embedded platforms.
• Utilize C extensively for application development and performance enhancement.
• Integrate and provide support for top OTT applications including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney Hotstar, or equivalent.
• Engage with the RDK platform for the deployment and customization of OTT applications.
• Create and modify solutions utilizing the Yocto build system.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams for application integration, debugging, and deployment processes.
• Identify and resolve issues related to performance, playback, and streaming.
• Ensure a seamless video playback experience across various devices and platforms.

Technical Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience in C programming.
• Demonstrated experience with native OTT applications, specifically Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney Hotstar, or similar.
• Background in embedded systems development.
• Strong familiarity with the RDK platform is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with the Yocto build system.
• Solid understanding of OTT streaming workflows and video playback technologies.
• Proficient with debugging tools and techniques for performance optimization.
