OTT Apps Developer

Job Overview:

• We are seeking a skilled OTT Applications Developer with extensive experience in C programming and a proven track record of developing and maintaining native OTT applications across major platforms including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney Hotstar, or comparable services.
• This position requires engagement with next-generation video platforms, focusing on the development of high-performance OTT applications for embedded devices utilizing RDK and Yocto-based ecosystems.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and sustain native OTT applications tailored for embedded platforms.
• Utilize C programming extensively for application creation and performance enhancement.
• Integrate and provide support for leading OTT applications such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney Hotstar, or similar platforms.
• Engage with the RDK platform for the deployment and customization of OTT applications.
• Create and modify solutions using the Yocto build system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate application integration, debugging, and deployment.
• Identify and resolve issues related to performance, playback, and streaming.
• Ensure a seamless video playback experience across various devices and platforms.

Technical Qualifications:

• Demonstrated hands-on proficiency in C programming.
• Extensive experience with native OTT applications such as Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Disney Hotstar, or their equivalents.
• Background in embedded systems development.
• Preferred knowledge of the RDK platform.
• Hands-on experience with the Yocto build system.
• Strong understanding of OTT streaming workflows and video playback mechanisms.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and performance optimization strategies.
