OTM Consultant

Job Overview:

• Experience a typical day in the role of an Infoscion.
• As a member of the Infosys consulting team, your key responsibility will be to support the consulting team through various stages of projects, including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design, and deployment.
• You will investigate alternatives to proposed solutions by conducting research that encompasses literature reviews, public domain information, vendor evaluations, and more.
• Additionally, you will be tasked with building proof of concepts (POCs).
• Your role will involve creating requirement specifications based on business needs, defining future processes, and developing detailed functional designs derived from these requirements.
• You will assist in configuring solution requirements on products, diagnosing any issues, identifying root causes, seeking clarifications, and shortlisting viable solution alternatives.
• You will also play a role in contributing to unit-level and organizational initiatives aimed at delivering high-quality, value-adding solutions to clients.

Core Responsibilities:

• Possess a minimum of 9 years of functional or techno-functional experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) implementation and/or support projects, with hands-on experience in OTM Release 6.

• Demonstrate strong technical and functional expertise in the latest Oracle Transportation Management application modules, including Order Management, OTM Finance, and Shipment Management.
• Have proficiency in preparing mapping documents for interfacing the OTM system with EDI, WMS, Order Management, and finance systems, and be capable of converting functional specifications into design specifications for the technical team.
• Experience with end-to-end OTM lifecycle implementation is essential.
• Familiarity with OTM architecture is preferred.

• Knowledge of the latest technologies and industry trends.

• Experience in one or two industry domains.
