Role Overview

We are in the process of integrating our SmartDocs portal with Oracle EBS Financials in a bi-directional manner:

• Data Flow from EBS to the Portal: This includes master data such as suppliers, sites, GL accounts, payment terms, operating units, purchase orders, receipts, and related information.
• Data Flow from the Portal to EBS: This encompasses accounts payable invoices, along with their status and outcome being communicated back.

This integration will utilize either Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or EBS Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG), alongside read-only database views. An EBS functional consultant is already part of the team; this role focuses on the technical and integration aspects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement master-data synchronization from EBS to the portal, including both full and incremental (changed records only) loads, read-only views, and scheduled integrations via OIC.
• Create invoice integration processes into EBS (using Payables open interface, import program, and result read-back) via OIC or ISG.
• Utilize OIC to work with EBS, database, and REST adapters, manage connectivity agents, schedule tasks, handle errors, and monitor processes.
• In ISG, deploy REST services, manage access grants, and troubleshoot issues through server log analysis.
• Write and optimize SQL and PL/SQL for EBS Financials tables (including AP, PO, GL, and supplier/TCA data).
• Collaborate with the functional consultant and developers on data mapping, validation, and testing procedures.
• Perform basic environment management tasks related to Linux/SSH and Oracle Cloud (OCI) networking.

Essential Qualifications

• Proven technical expertise in Oracle EBS R12.2 Financials (AP, PO, GL; suppliers).
• In-depth understanding of the EBS data model pertaining to suppliers, purchase orders, invoices, and GL accounts.
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC Gen 2/Gen 3): Familiarity with the EBS adapter, connectivity agent, DB/REST adapters, and scheduled integrations, along with at least one previously delivered EBS integration.
• Knowledge of Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG): Experience in deploying REST/SOAP services.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, including skills in incremental data extracts and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with open interface tables and concurrent programs.
• Proficient in working with REST, XML/JSON, Postman, and Linux environments.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Boomi or other iPaaS tools.
• Understanding of Oracle Workflow, AME, and business events.
• Familiarity with BI Publisher, OAF/Forms.
• Knowledge of Java/Spring (JDBC).
• Basic understanding of OCI (VMs, security lists).
