Job description

• Conduct eye examinations to assess vision and detect early signs of eye conditions.
• Provide advice to patients on proper eye care and the best ways to protect their vision.
• Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Identify eye health issues that may require medical attention.
• Stay up-to-date with trends and advancements in optometry practices.
• Collaborate with a team of optometrists and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of patient information.
• Educate patients on the use and care of corrective lenses.
• A degree in Optometry and a valid state license to practice.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of optometry practices and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Customer-oriented approach and empathy towards patients.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus.
