Job Overview

The primary responsibility of this role is to program and operate EDM and Wire-Cut machines to create intricate details, cavities, and shapes that are challenging to achieve using traditional machining methods.

Experience Requirements

Experience: Between 3 to 8 years

 Develop operating programs for EDM and Wire-Cut machines based on engineering specifications. 

 Set up and secure workpieces and electrodes, ensuring precise alignment of axes and reference points. 

 Choose appropriate operating parameters based on the type of steel, machining allowance, surface finish, and desired accuracy. 

 Manufacture cavities, openings, profiles, and high-precision components for mold applications. 

 Conduct measurements and inspections of machined parts to ensure they adhere to the specifications outlined in the drawings. 

 Oversee machine maintenance and manage consumables such as wire, filters, fluids, and electrodes.
