OpenText Archive center Developer

Job Overview:

• We are looking for a proficient OpenText Archive Center Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience in the design, implementation, and support of enterprise archival solutions utilizing OpenText technologies.
• The successful candidate will have practical experience in OpenText Archive Center, SAP Archiving integrations, and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms.
• This role requires collaboration with both business and technical teams to create scalable, compliant, and high-performance archival solutions.

Primary Duties:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions utilizing OpenText Archive Center.
• Configure and maintain data archiving and document retention processes.
• Integrate OpenText Archive Center with SAP ECC and S4HANA through SAP ArchiveLink and other archival frameworks.
• Conduct installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting of OpenText archival components.
• Assist in the implementation of archival strategies for both structured and unstructured enterprise data.
• Engage with business stakeholders to comprehend retention compliance and archival needs.
• Carry out migration, archival retrieval, and lifecycle management tasks.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support and address archival-related incidents and performance challenges.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
• Work in conjunction with infrastructure, SAP, and application teams to ensure comprehensive solution delivery.

Technical Qualifications:

• Expertise in OpenText technologies.
• Hands-on experience with OpenText Archive Center.
• Familiarity with OpenText Content Server and Extended ECM.
• Understanding of enterprise archival and records management principles.
• Experience with retention policies, legal hold, and compliance requirements.
• SAP Integration experience.
• Experience with SAP ArchiveLink integrations.
• Knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA archival architecture.
• Understanding of SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) is preferred.
• Technical Skills:
• Database knowledge in Oracle, SQL Server, or SAP HANA.
• Basic Linux and Unix administration skills.
• Experience with content repositories and storage management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is a plus.

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in OpenText archival solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in an Agile delivery environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• OpenText certifications.
• Experience with OpenText xECM, Documentum, or other ECM platforms.
• Exposure to SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) or enterprise document management solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance frameworks.
