OCI and Paas Admin

Job Description:

• We are in search of a skilled Oracle SaaS and IaaS Administrator tasked with the design, implementation, security, and management of cloud network architectures on OCI, along with overseeing Fusion Apps environments.
• This position emphasizes the management of the Fusion Apps environment and its associated OCI Landing Zone.

Key Responsibilities:

• SaaS Administration
• User lifecycle management, including creation, modification, and deletion within Oracle Fusion ERP services
• Role assignments in Fusion and access management for business users
• Coordination of patching cycles with Oracle
• Instance refresh from Cloud Console along with post-cloning activities
• Management of folder access for BIP report migrations
• Monitoring, issue reporting, and resolution tracking for Oracle Fusion ERP scheduled processes, such as ESS jobs vital for business operations
• Overseeing environment refreshes in accordance with the ERP project implementation timeline
• Collaboration on the preparation of training, SIT, UAT, and data migration environments
• Access management for users in training and UAT environments
• Providing production support for ERP user accounts, identity federation, API authentication providers, and single sign-on configurations
• Ensuring the migration of configuration and development objects from lower to controlled environments
• Creation of service requests for Fusion SaaS issues and coordination with Oracle
• Strong understanding of RBAC and SOD principles
• IaaS Administration
• Management of OCI Tenancy
• Proficient understanding of OCI object storage
• Ability to manage ATPs effectively
• Thorough knowledge of OCI native security and best practices
• Creation of alarms and management of audit processes
• Reviewing OCI cost utilization reports and performing optimization
• Designing, deploying, and managing Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), subnets, DRGs, LPGs, and network gateways (IGW, NGW, SGW)
• Configuring routing, security lists, network security groups (NSGs), and VCN peering—both local and remote
• Managing site-to-site VPN, FastConnect, and hybrid network connectivity with on-premises data centers
• Implementing load balancing (public and private) and troubleshooting L3/L4 traffic flows
• Optimizing network performance, resilience, and throughput across multi-region architectures
• Implementing and managing OCI IAM policies, dynamic groups, security zones, compartment strategies, and Zero Trust principles
• Documenting network security architectures, runbooks, and operational procedures
• Conducting regular risk assessments, security reviews, and threat modeling

Technical Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in managing Fusion application instances
• Expertise in managing the OCI Landing Zone and its resources
• Solid understanding of Fusion instances and environment refresh schedules
• Hands-on experience with Fusion security, RBAC, and SOD
• Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
