Network Practice Leader - Architecture and Transformation

Job Description:

• Step into a senior leadership position to shape the future of network and connectivity architecture through strategic vision, practical transformation roadmaps, and high impact solution design
• As an Industry Principal, you will advise enterprise clients on complex architecture decisions, ensuring alignment between business outcomes and modern network capabilities while promoting a culture of collaboration, rigor, and continuous improvement
• Work closely with cross functional stakeholders across delivery engineering, sales, and client leadership to define scalable architectures, guide technology direction, and raise practice standards
• This role is well suited for a seasoned professional who combines deep technical expertise with executive communication, structured pre sales processes, and mentorship—delivering measurable value through well governed architecture and transformation programs

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end to end architecture and solution design for enterprise network programs across campus LAN, WAN, data center, cloud, and security edge SASE domains
• Create High Level Designs (HLD), Low Level Designs (LLD), reference architectures, and design standards, including topology diagrams, IP routing schemes, migration plans, and bill of materials
• Lead technology evaluations, proof of concepts (PoCs), and OEM vendor selection by comparing options against functional, commercial, operational, and security criteria
• Enable pre sales and solutioning activities by responding to RFPs and RFIs, sizing and costing solutions, presenting designs to customers and executives, and defending design decisions in technical reviews
• Define transformation and migration strategies for legacy to software defined transitions e

• traditional WAN, SD WAN, SASE, classic DC spine leaf fabric, campus, SD Access fabric
• Embed security by design, including micro segmentation, Zero Trust, secure edge, and integration with the broader security architecture
• Drive network automation and Infrastructure as Code adoption across designs, including templating, ZTP, CI CD for network configuration
• Set up design governance via architecture review boards, design patterns, guardrails, and documentation standards
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to network engineers and junior architects, serving as a design escalation point during delivery
• Collaborate with cloud security, applications, and infrastructure teams to ensure the network architecture aligns with the broader enterprise architecture and roadmaps
