Network Engineer

• Configure and manage BGP including path attributes and route advertisement

• Implement and maintain OSPF configurations including default routes and passive interfaces

• Manage routing concepts such as static routes, default routes, IP SLA, and VRF

• Perform route redistribution between BGP and OSPF

• Configure and manage L2 and L3 switching, VLANs, and Spanning Tree Protocol

• Implement HSRP for high availability and redundancy

• Configure zone-based firewalls on Cisco routers including class maps and policy maps

• Work on WAN technologies including DMVPN and GRE tunnels

• Configure ACLs and policy-based routing

• Manage IP addressing and subnetting

• Design networks based on Cisco hierarchical design model
