Network Consultant - L2

About the Role

Gruve is a leading IT services and solutions provider specializing in software development, cloud services, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and enterprise solutions. We are seeking a NOC Cloud and Infrastructure Network Engineer to support and manage network and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on analyzing and resolving complex security and network issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage cloud and on-prem network architectures, including hybrid cloud environments
• Configure and maintain infrastructure (SD-WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers)
• Administer cloud networking components (VPCs, VNets, NSGs, gateways)
• Provide L2 support for escalated infrastructure and network issues
• Support upgrades, migrations, capacity provisioning, and hardware refreshes
• Execute changes per ITIL change management protocols
• Assist with infrastructure audits, compliance, and security policy enforcement
• Monitor network performance, conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning
• Respond to P1/P2 incidents, participate in on-call support and post-incident reviews
• Document corrective actions, drive knowledge sharing with L1 support teams
• Manage alerting systems for anomaly detection and incident response
• Coordinate with vendors for support, escalations, and hardware replacements
• Prepare for client service reviews (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• Guide and mentor L1 engineers; support shift operations and training initiatives
• Promote collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
• 2–5 years of experience in network/cloud engineering (preferably in a NOC environment)
• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, AWS/Azure Specialty, ITIL
• Hands-on experience with: Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Viptela, Versa

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
