We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Cloud Engineer with extensive hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, AWS, Kubernetes, and microservices. This position is integral to a strategic modernization project aimed at developing cloud-native services, enhancing platform capabilities, providing production support, and facilitating AI-driven software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain .NET Core / ASP.NET Core applications, REST APIs, and microservices.
Construct and enhance applications tailored for AWS cloud environments.
Create and manage containerized applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes.
Engage in application modernization efforts, including the migration and transformation of legacy systems.
Architect scalable and maintainable APIs and microservices in alignment with contemporary engineering practices.
Work with SQL databases, focusing on query optimization and improving database performance.
Diagnose complex application challenges and production incidents while conducting root-cause analysis.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and embrace modern software development and deployment methodologies.
Collaborate with engineering, cloud, DevOps, security, and product teams to produce dependable cloud-native solutions.
Implement secure coding practices and adhere to performance, scalability, and reliability standards.
Participate in code evaluations, technical discussions, design sessions, and solution planning.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot Agent Mode, to enhance developer productivity while maintaining code quality, security, and accuracy.
Generate technical documentation and assist in production readiness tasks.
Required Skills
7+ years of software engineering experience.
Proficient hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
Solid experience in designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
Practical experience with AWS Cloud.
Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker/containerization.
Strong grasp of SQL and database performance tuning.
Experience with CI/CD and modern SDLC practices.
Proficient in production troubleshooting and incident resolution.
Experience with legacy application modernization.
A solid understanding of software development best practices, design principles, and application architecture.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
