Mgr - Strategic Market Research

• Lead and mentor a team of Senior Research Analysts and Research Analysts ensuring quality, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables.
• Translate business questions from senior leadership into structured market research projects focused on competitive intelligence, market trends, sizing, and emerging opportunities.
• Guide the design and execution of secondary and primary research, and support data triangulation and forecasting approaches.
• Drive the development of high-impact research outputs including executive briefs, market maps, and opportunity assessments tailored to stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Strategy, M&A, Therapeutic Area, Innovation, and other global functions to ensure alignment with business priorities.
• Oversee intake and workflow management for research requests from the Strategy Enablement Team (SET), ensuring clarity of scope, resource planning, and effective prioritization.
• Support the development and refinement of research frameworks, taxonomies, and reusable knowledge assets.
• Contribute thought leadership by identifying unmet information needs, emerging trends, and best practices.
• Ensure the team maintains high standards of documentation, presentation, and communication of findings using Excel, PowerPoint, and BI dashboards.
• Foster a culture of learning, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement.

Experience and Minimum Skills & Knowledge Requirements

• Master's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Economics, Public Health, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in market research, strategic insights, or consulting (preferably in the healthcare/pharma domain).
• Proven experience managing mid-sized research or analytics teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
• Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies and data triangulation approaches.
• Expertise in secondary research and familiarity with primary research design.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; knowledge of Power BI or SQL preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas or healthcare verticals is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring attention to detail and delivery excellence.
