Job Description
Job Overview:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and enhancement of enterprise-wide Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions in global manufacturing environments.
- This position requires the formulation of digital manufacturing strategies, spearheading extensive MES transformation initiatives, and delivering adaptable solutions utilizing top MES platforms such as Sepasoft, AVEVA MES, Siemens Opcenter, Delmia Apriso, SAP MII, ME, and Ignition.
- The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, plant operations teams, OT/IT teams, and system integrators to support smart manufacturing projects and the transition to Industry 4.0.
Core Responsibilities:
- Establish the MES architecture roadmap and deployment plan.
- Design and deploy ISA 95 compliant MES solutions.
- Lead assessments of manufacturing processes and digital transformation projects.
- Architect integration between MES, ERP, SCADA, Historian, and other enterprise systems.
- Oversee global MES implementation projects and govern delivery processes.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, customer workshops, and executive presentations.
- Assist in pre-sales solution estimation and proposal creation.
- Promote best practices, reusable frameworks, and manufacturing intelligence solutions.
Technical Qualifications:
- Familiarity with MES Platforms including Ignition, Sepasoft, AVEVA MES, Siemens Opcenter, Delmia Apriso, SAP ME, and MII.
- Knowledge of standards such as ISA 95, ISA 88, ISA 62443, and GAMP5.
- Experience with integrations involving SAP, Oracle, Infor, ERP, SCADA, Historian, LIMS, and WMS.
- Proficient in technologies including OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Ethernet IP, and Profinet.
- Expertise in databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
- Experience with cloud analytics platforms such as Azure, AWS, Data Lake, and Power BI.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture, solution design, cybersecurity, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in Manufacturing Systems with a strong background in MES implementation and consulting.
