Medical Director / Senior Consultant - Oncology

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the oncology department and oversee clinical governance, patient care delivery, and treatment protocols.
• Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive cancer treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct detailed medical evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and accurate cancer staging.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.
• Provide expert guidance on chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and emerging oncology treatments.
• Stay updated with global advancements in oncology and incorporate evidence-based innovations into clinical practice.
• Mentor, train, and supervise junior doctors, consultants, and clinical staff.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and clinical excellence.
• Ensure adherence to medical ethics, clinical guidelines, hospital protocols, and patient safety standards.
• Contribute to strategic planning and development of oncology services within the organization.
