Medical Director/ Senior Consultant - Oncology

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive and personalized treatment plans for oncology patients.
• Conduct detailed medical examinations, evaluate diagnostic reports, and accurately diagnose various types of cancer.
• Provide expert consultation and treatment recommendations involving chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and related oncology procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated and patient-centered care delivery.
• Monitor patient progress, treatment effectiveness, and adjust care plans as required.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements, research, and innovations in oncology treatments and cancer care.
• Lead and mentor junior doctors, consultants, and clinical staff within the oncology department.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, medical ethics, and hospital quality standards.
• Contribute to strategic planning and operational development of oncology services within the organization.
