- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, defects, or malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to resolve them
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules, lubrication plans, and predictive maintenance strategies to prevent breakdowns and prolong equipment lifespan
- Repair and Replacement: Conduct repairs, replacements, or upgrades of mechanical components, parts, or systems when necessary
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and protocols while performing maintenance activities, and contribute to creating a safe working environment
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment condition for reference and analysis
- Qualifications and Skills:A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Maintenance Technology, or a related field
- Relevant work experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other related components
- Key Attributes:Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
- Attention to detail to perform thorough inspections and maintenance tasks accurately
