MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or continuous-process industry.

Core Technical Requirements

• Strong practical experience with rotating and mechanical equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, bearings, shafts, couplings, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong capability in mechanical troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA), with the ability to identify permanent corrective actions for recurring failures.
• Practical knowledge of alignment, lubrication, bearing replacement, mechanical assembly, vibration basics, and preventive/corrective maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment layouts, OEM manuals, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with fabrication, welding, machining, workshop activities, and equipment modifications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in high-speed or continuous manufacturing industries such as nonwovens, plastics, film, paper, textile, packaging, or similar process industries.
• Previous experience with nonwoven machinery is highly desirable
• Experience with CMMS, condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, equipment installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities will be an advantage.
